2. Trace the evolution of marketing concept and explain the dominant concepts in each period. (20 marks)
3. Define the term ''principle'' and explain the principles of marketing according to MacCarthy (1954). (10 marks)
4. List and explain any four micro-environmental factors that may affect marketing activities in a library. (20 marks)
5. a) Define the term macro-environment in relation to marketing environment. (2 marks)
b) Highlight six major forces in an information centre macro-environment. (18 marks)
6. Explain the general procedure of carrying out marketing research in an information centre. (20 marks)
