Muranga University College is a constituent college of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
It is located about 1.5 kilometers from Muranga town in a serene and quite environment favorable for studies.
The college offers a number of certificate, diploma and undergraduate degree courses in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Business and Management, Sciences as well as Institutional Management.
Muranga University College is comprised of the following schools and departments.
1. School of Business and Economics.
Under this schools, there are three departments namely department of commerce, department of human resource management and department of liberal studies.
2. School of Engineering.
School of Engineering is comprised of three departments namely department of mechanical engineering, department of electrical and electronics engineering and department of civil and building engineering.
