  Course requirements
  - Applicants must have scored
  C+ in KCSE with C+ in one
  of the subjects below:
  (a)Maths or physics
  (b)English or kiswahili
  (c)C+ in any arts subjects or
  A minimum of C in KCSE plus
  diploma in special education,
  P1 or S1 from a reputable
  institution with at least
  two years teaching experience or
  division III at KCE or one principal
  and one subsidiary at KACE
  
  Program duration
  - This course takes three years(eight trimesters)
  Plus teaching practice
  
  Tuition fee for East Africans:
  -Sh.50,000 per trimester
  
  Tuition fee for Non-East Africans
  - Sh.75,000 per trimester
•  Kenyatta University Mombasa Campus, Mombasa  
  Entry requirements:-
  Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) in one of the following subjects, English/Kiswahili, Maths/Biology and any Arts subjects OR Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or Division III at KCE or equivalent or one (1) Principal and one (1) Subsidiary at KACE and be holders of P1, S1, or Diploma in Special Education from a recognized Institution with at least two (2) years teaching experience after training.
•  Kenyatta University, Nairobi  
  Minimum requirements
  - Admission shall be granted
  to holders of any one of the
  qualifications below:
  (i)A minimum of C in KCSE
  plus a diploma in relevant
  discipline from a recognized
  with at least a credit pass.
  
  (ii)A minimum of C+ in KCSE
  
  (iii)Division II or III at KCE
  plus a S1 or P1 diploma in relevant
  field from a recognized institution.
  
  Program duration
  -Four years
•  Machakos University, Machakos  
  Entry requirements:
  
  -Minimum of C+ (plus) in
  KCSE or equivalent with at
  least C + (plus) in two
  teaching subjects OR
  minimum of C (plain) in KCSE
  or equivalent with a Diploma
  in Education OR Special
•  Gretsa University, Thika  
  Minimum admission requirements: KCSE mean grade of C+ or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) in one of the following subjects: English/Kiswahili, Maths/Biology and any Arts subjects.
  Fees structure: Ksh. 50,000 per trimester.
