Supply chain management involves the movement and storage of materials or goods in an organization.This ensures that the goods involved are handled in the right manner.Storage or holding cost is an expense to any organization therefore steps need to be taken to ensure free flow of goods in and outside the organization.Those within the chain management section are responsible for:(i)Logistics(ii)Distribution(iii)Sales and operations planning(iv)ProcurementThe program above prepares students masters degree as well as working in the areas above.Applicants are therefore required to hold a degree in a relevant field.The course takes two years.
