Obstetrics and Gynaecology is part of medicine that involves the study of maternal health and other related complications.
Students are trained on the methods of safe delivery and protection of the child and the mother against the threatening diseases.
The following areas are taught:

(ii)Advanced General Physiology
(iii)Reproductive Endocrinology I and II
(iv)Physiology Of Pregnancy
(v)High Risk Pregnancy And Emergency Obstetrics And Gynaecology
(vi)Community Reproductive Health,among others.
Applicants are required to be holders of the first degree in medicine or related discipline.
This program takes a minimum of two years.
