c) Ducks are able to walk over swampy grounds without sinking.
Q.3.Calculate the pressure under a girl's feet if her mass is 33.6kg and the area of contact of one foot is 84cm2. (4 marks)
Q.4.The weight of a book resting on a table is 2.7 N.If the area of the book in contact with the table is 0.012m2,determine the pressure exerted by the book on the table.

Q.5.A stone pillar has a mass of 3.0tonnes. If the area of its base is 0.3m2,Calculate the pressure under the pillar. (4 marks)

b) The force exerted on the piston in the larger cylinder. (5 marks)
