1. IMAGINATIVE COMPOSITION (COMPULSORY) (20mks)
EITHER;
a) Write a story ending with the following sentence.

the following statement: “ The Love for money and power can make one inhuman”.

to a woman’s health.” Asses the truth of this statement, drawing your illustrations from
Siada Hagie – Dirie Herzi’s story Against The Pleasure Principle. (20mks)

John Ruganda, ‘Shred of Tenderness’.
Imagine you are Odie, in the play Shred of Tenderness, write an essay showing your
disapproval of Stella’s treatment of Wak. Draw your examples from Ruganda’s Shreds of
Tenderness. (20mks)
OR
c) THE NOVEL:
Velma Pollard, Homestretch
Third world societies are deprived of economic and human resources. Write an essay in
support of this statement using illustrations from Velma Pollard’s Homestretch.
