c) Express the following relation in Prolog.
i) Grandparent relation

d) Using examples, differentiate between universal quantification and existential quantification

e) Briefly explain any two types of knowledge based systems (4 Marks)

c) Consider the following English statements:
Palco is a calico.
Herb is a tuna.
Charlie is a tuna.
All tunas are fishes.
All calicos are cats.
All cats like to eat all kinds of fishes.
i. Convert each of these statements to predicate form, by using the standard form of logic (6 Marks)
i. Build a prove tree to prove that Palco likes to eat Charlie, by using the formulas defined above

a) Differentiate between semantic and frame representation of knowledge (2 Marks)
b) Represent the following as a semantic network:
Four cars are currently placed at the yard of Motherland Auto, Muran’ga road. Two of the dealer’s
cars are Japanese makes and the other two European. The Japanese models are Toyota Corona
(KAT612J Brown) and Honda Civic (KAM232N Red) whereas the European models are
BMW S-1 (KAS345M Blue) and Ford Laser (KAR231T Red). The pieces of data within the
brackets are registration number and colour respectively. (14 Marks)

a) Search can be categorized as either:
