1. What contributions does the theory of Walt Rostow make in the understanding of development and what in your views are some of the limitations of this theory?
2. What is the importance of economics in the rapid production growth in agriculture and what are the key challenges facing the development of this sector?
3. Examine the various factors surrounding rapid industrialization within the Asian economies and clearly point out what the African economies can borrow from this region in order to industrialize.
4. Africa’s long term debt has risen 19th fold since 1970’s and is now equal to its GNP, making the region to be the mostly indebted of the world economies. Examine the factors behind this and suggest possible solutions.
