a) Law is an instrument of control and restrain to guide the behaviour and courses of action of
individuals and their groups living in a society. Evaluate five factors influencing labour laws
popularity in organizations (10 marks)
b) There are four weapons of choice that business used to control early unionization efforts. Discuss
each of them. (12 marks)
c) An employment contract is a legally enforceable agreement. Explain four elements of the contract
that must be present for the agreement to be enforceable. (8 marks)

a) Examine the components of an effective policy to prevent sexual harassment. (10 marks)
b) When a company is in the process of downsizing, what strategies can it use to avoid complaints of
