b) How would a teacher provide for stimulus variation in the lesson? (10 marks)
c) Briefly describe the isolation policy as implemented by the missionaries in Kenya. (10 marks)
2) Discuss the role of home and school in molding character of the learners. (15 marks)
3) Critically assess the impact of KOHLBERG’S theory of religious and moral development among the youth in Kenyan schools today.
4) Do you agree with the assertion that religious education does not deserve to remain in the Kenyan Education system? Give reasons for your answer. (15 marks)
5) Discuss the merits and demerits of using transmission methods of teaching in religious instruction.
6) Assess the contribution of the following legal documents towards the developments towards the development of religious education subject in Kenya.
i) The constitution of Kenya (71/2 marks)
ii) The Ominde report (1964) (71/2 marks)
7) (a) Select a topic of your choice from CRE Secondary School syllabus and prepare a detailed two weeks schemes of work. (8 marks)
b) Prepare a lesson plan for lesson one, week 1 from the scheme of work designed in 7 (a) above. (7marks)
