You are the chairperson of the Kenya Healthcare Research consortium, whose primary focus is conducting research on health system issues. In five ways, justify contemporary issues that should be explored in health systems management for the years 2012-2015. (25 marks)

Describe equity in health, then using examples, describe how the four functions of health systems attempt to address it for health systems strengthening. (25 marks)
