Discuss how African traditions have affected the lives of African women as seen in Mariama Ba’s so long a letter. What remedy does the writer suggest? (20 Marks)

Question Three
Discuss the contribution of Kenyan women in the development of East African literature. (20 Marks)

Question Four
Discuss the plight of African women as brought out in two short stories that you have studies in this course. (20 Marks)

Question Five
African women are capable of fighting and overcoming the obstacles they face in society and thus getting the freedom they deserve. Justify this statement with illustration from either MacGoye Oludhe’s "Coming to Birth" or Margaret Ogolla’s "The River and the Source." (20 Marks)
