Describe the African political movements that developed between 1920 and 1940 in Kenya. (20 Marks)

Examine the policies of the two major political parties i.e. Kenya African National Union and Kenya African Democratic Union formed in 1960 prior to decolonization in Kenya. (20 Marks)

Question Three
Discuss the causes of the Mau Mau war of liberation and its consequences. (20 Marks)

Question Four
There were two distinct ideological groups; conservatives and radicals, within KANU, during the period after independence in 1963 in Kenya. Explain their ideological differences regarding their political and economic policies. (20 Marks)

Describe the internal and external factors that led to the introduction of multi-partyism in Kenya in 1991. (20 Marks)

Question Six
The Kenyan constitution promulgated in August 2010 establishes a devolved government. Analyze the objectives and principles of the devolved government. (20 Marks)

Question Seven
Discuss the growth of African Nationalism in Kenya. (20 Marks)

Question Eight
Kenya’s 2010 constitution addresses more critical issues as compared to post independence constitution of 1963. Analyze. (15 Marks)
