(b) Briefly describe the four major dance suites of the Baroque period. (8 marks)

4. i) Describe five main characteristics features of the Baroque music. (10 marks)

ii) Discuss the contributions of the following schools to the development of musical
styles during the periods in which they existed. (10 marks)

5. a) Define the term Orchestra. Discuss using a diagrammatic illustration, the instrumental
arrangement of different sections of instruments in the Orchestra. (10 marks)
