1. (a) You have been invited to address the members of Maendeleo ya wanaume on ‘The Importance
of Women in the Home’. Explain how the following factors are likely to cause barriers. Give
clear examples.

(b) Give the channels used by the following communicators.

(b) A paragraph has unity when all the sentences are relevant to the topic sentence.
Write a paragraph of six sentences that lacks unity and briefly explain why you think it
lacks unity. (9 marks)
