Question One

Analyze the following sentences in terms of their basic patterns (SV, SVO, etc) (20 Marks)

Women of Kenya are hardworking
The fishermen found university social life very easy
He placed his hands on the car bonnet
Young children learn the mathematical tables very quickly
Mother gave me a ripe banana yesterday

Question Four

For each of the following sentences, first underline the verb(s) then indicate their tense and draw a tree diagram for verb phrase in which they occur
