1. Define the Central Agricultural Board and describe its composition. [10 Marks]
2. State two instances when transactions affecting agricultural land are not controlled under the land control act. [4 Marks]
3. Explain there instances when a land transaction can be void under land control act. [6 Marks]
4. Explain four cases where consent for a transaction in agricultural land can be refused by the land control board. [10 Marks]

5. (a) Define the following terms as defined in the agriculture act

(b) Explain the objectives of annual review of the agricultural industry as defined by section 5 of the agriculture act. [8 Marks]
6. (a) Discuss legal obligations placed on an agent appointed by the minister responsible
for agriculture to market scheduled crops and products. [15 Marks]
(b) Explain the restrictions that the minister can place on duly appointed agent in
relation to an agency. [5 Marks]
7. The minister responsible for agriculture is required to work in close consultation with the central agricultural board. Discuss the instances when the minister is required to consult the central agricultural board, according to the agriculture act. [20 Marks]
