(ii) Briefly explain the statement “Resources are not, they become, they are
not static but expand and contract in response to human wants/actions.

(iii) Outline the conditions necessary for the environment to constitute a resource.

(e) Examine the various ways in which exploitation of resources results in wastes
and pollution. Give examples. (7 marks)
