Explain four ways in which plants adapt to water stress according to Levitt’s drought adaption mechanisms.

Describe the three phases of the plant sigmoid growth curve.

Discuss the role of pollination in fruit development.
(4 Marks)

Explain what is meant by "senescence" and give two examples of phyto-hormones involved in senescence and the role each one of those hormones plays.

List four major plant nutrients and the role played by each nutrient.

Discuss eight ways in which water stress affects plant performance and product quality. (15 Marks)

Discuss ten factors that affect the rate of photosynthesis in plants. (15 Marks)
