Alice is an engineer in a motor vehicle assembly company. She is part of a years ago to look at the feasibility at coming up with a hybrid truck for the local market. Lately, Alice has been complaining to her manager that the project is not going well. Asked why, this is how she stated her case; "Our team has become stagnant. We do not brainstorm the way we used to, we just sit in the room and go over the design without discussing the pros and cons. We are always making the same decisions we made before. We no longer think outside the box, nobody is willing to take risks or voice opinions that not everybody is going to like. I do not want to stay on this team.
