examples, explain the socialization and maintenance stages. (10 marks)
b) Explain the measurements used in the study of Group Dynamics. (5marks)
c) Group-think renders groups inefficient and unproductive. Clearly examine the
symptoms of group-think in an organization. (8 marks)
d) Discuss some of the main stressors that encroach on group territories and interfere
with the outcome of social interactions. (7 marks)

a) Groups are always faced with problems needing solutions. Although no two
groups reach their decisions in the same way, the stages of decision making
appear consistent in many groups. Clearly examine these stages. (10 marks)
b) Examine the perspectives postulated in the study of Group Dynamics. (5marks)
c) Group members respond to social influence through various ways. Discuss.

examine Zimbardo’s Deindividualisation Theory citing the factors that leads

a) Although a group may claim a territory, each member of the group has his/her
own territory. Explain the importance of individual territories. (5 marks)
b) Explain the dimensions of social influence in a group. (5 marks)
c) In groups, interdependent individuals pool their personal effort to reach specified
goals. Distinguish between social facilitation and social loafing as expressed
when groups perform tasks. (5 marks)
d) Explain what is meant by group polarization and its causes. (5 marks)
