Identify and describe the features of each of these systems during this time.

2. Show why England assumed a leading role in the Industrial Transformation of Europe.
Explain why this process was slow in other parts of continental Europe.

3. How did the Industrial Revolution transform Europe? Be sure to discuss the social, economic
and political aspects of this process.

4. Using your knowledge of French society in the 18th century, why would you argue that the
French Revolution of 1789 was inevitable?

5. Demonstrate your knowledge of the key highlights of the French Revolution up to 1794.
