the contribution of workers to the organization (8 Marks)
iv. Explain giving examples why training cannot solve all performance problems in an

The management of an organization has a responsibility of ensuring that the workforce is free
from unnecessary hazards and that conditions surrounding the workplace are not hazardous to
employees’ physical or mental health.

You have been asked to head a team of line managers in your organization to look into the
reasons why there has been an unprecedented high turn over of high performing workers in the
organization. As a team you have agreed to study the exit interviews over the period that turn
over has been significantly high. In light of this discuss
i. the main reasons that can occasion high turn over in an organization (8 Marks)
ii. suggest a strategy that can be used by organizations experiencing such problems and
discuss specific components that should be included in the strategy (12 Marks)
