4.(a) Distinguish between a technique and a strategy as used in Biology instruction.

(b) Explain three merits and three demerits of the discovery method in Biology
instruction. (6mks)
(c) How the inductive method of teaching different from the deductive method.
(d) It has been argued that the use of periodical and Newspapers in teaching Biology,
may help in improving student achievement than the use of text books. Discuss
the merits and shortcoming of both teaching resources and highlight in which
biology aspects they are most appropriate. (10mks)
