1. Redemption story tells the story of salvation as is explained in the Bible.
a. In what aspects does Christian teaching on salvation differ from the other religions?

b. Explain the futility of seeking salvation by one’s own effort in total disregard to God’s
provision of salvation. (3 marks)
c. Explain how Jesus perfectly fulfils God’s demand for payment of sin. (4 marks)

2. The Biblical account of creation stands out above the Big Bang and Evolution theories.
a. Describe each of the three in detail. (6 marks)
b. State any four weaknesses of the Evolution theory. (4 marks)
c. Adduce reasons show how the Creation story accurately answers the question
of the origin of the universe. (5 marks)

3. Man is the epitome of God’s creation.
a. Provide four facts in the creation story to show that man is unique of all God’s
creation. (4 marks)
b. Explain three reasons to show why God created man. (6 marks)
c. Compare and contrast the state of man before the Fall and after the Fall. (5 marks)

4. God openly granted man a second chance after the Fall
a. Comparing with God’s relationship to the rest of the creation, show why this is true.
(2 marks)
b. God’s love and concern for man is seen even after the Fall. Cite at least four other
instances where God demonstrated love and concern for man by restraining the
power of sin. (4 marks)
c. Genesis 3:15 is taken by scholars as carrying the first proclamation of the gospel
(pro-evangelium). Identify four facts that can be adduced from this verse to
prove this. (4 marks)
d. After destroying the world in the flood and preserving humanity through the
Family of Noah, sin still continued on earth. Why was this? Base your answer on
the fact presented in Genesis 8:21, cf 6:5. (2 marks)
e. Identify the solution of the problem of man and the consequences of ignoring this
solution. (3 marks)


5. In a bid to reconcile the world to himself, God has used the nation of Israel as his channel
of salvation.
a. What is the purpose of the Table of nations in Genesis 10? (4 marks)
b. Identify and discuss in detail the 3 roles of the nation of Israel as stated in
Exodus 19:5-6 regarding their relationship to the nations. (9 marks)
c. God showed favouritism in choosing the nation Israel. Discuss. (2 marks)

6. The world is drawing close to end, going by the predictions given in the Bible.
a. Chronologically describe the succession of gentile kingdoms following Daniel’s
interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2. (10 marks)
b. Using the interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream above, advice a person
who argues that the Anti-Christ is already here. (3 marks)
c. What should be the necessary preparation for any human being in view of
these events and why? (2 marks)
