1. A common talk among religions of the world today is that "There are many roads to
God"; in fact, "All religions lead to one God". This is why they are calling for
"tolerance" among religious groups.
(a) Do you agree with the argument that “all religions lead to one God”? Explain
your answer. (2 marks)
(b) Having gone through Redemption Story course at Kabarak University, respond to a
religious leader calling for tolerance among other religions clearly showing the
uniqueness of Christianity above all others under the following topics:
i. Christianity has a unique founder: Jesus Christ (2 marks)
ii. Christianity has a unique book: The Bible (2 marks)
iii. Changed lives (2 marks)
iv. Christianity has a unique way of salvation. (2 marks)

2. Your roommate is a self-proclaimed atheist, who vehemently denies God''s role in
creation of the universe. He argues that the evolution theory better explains the origin of
man than the creation story found in the Bible. Using biblical facts,

(a) Briefly explain the Evolution theory. (3 marks)
(b) Give at least 4 facts to disapprove the Evolution theory. (4 marks)
(c) What is the underlying reason for denying the existence of God? (2 marks)
(d) State and briefly explain 5 reasons to prove the existence of God (5 marks)
(e) Explain the 3 reasons why God created man (6 marks)

3. God throughout history has appointed various people(s) as his channels to reconcile
the world to himself.
(a) Compare and contrast the redemptive role of the nation of Israel with that of the
Church (believers in Christ) (12 marks)
(b) Explain with reasons to show why the mission of the Church stands above that of
the Jews in the Old Testament. (8 marks)

4. Jesus came to restore the Kingdom of God on the earth.
(a) Identify any three titles ascribed to him that reveal this. (3 marks)
(b) What was his perception of the kingdom of God? (12 marks)
(c) Explain the mystery of the kingdom of God (3 marks)
(d) In your view, what is the effect of ignoring his call to restoration (2 marks)

5. A few years back, the media advanced that the bones of Christ were recovered in a
family tomb. One of your friends today is fully convinced that that is true. Help him
know for sure that Christ resurrected bodily from the dead by:


(a) Highlighting the 4 facts adduced by apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15 to prove the
authenticity of the bodily resurrection of Jesus (4marks)
(b) Giving any 4 facts to prove that Jesus actually died (4 marks)
(c) Discussing any 6 facts on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus (12 marks)

6. Chronologically discuss 5 main events that are yet to happen in the culmination of
salvation. Clearly identify the key personalities involved in each step. You may quote
relevant verses where possible to support your answer. (20 marks)
