A TRIBUTE
Hated to let you go had I the choice
But couldn’t hold on to nothingness
To the wild wind
Couldn’t reverse the sentence
Of a heartless judge
in an unfair trial
What was my crime?

The pain lingers on
to fade with time
Glistening scars remain
evidence of your brutality.

No bitterness for a decade lost
So small miraculously summarized in an SMS.
However,
the nostalgia of a blissful moment past
continue to kill me slowly.

Thanks a million my love
for what you were
And forever will be.

Fare thee well
Till another life.
Maybe.
