SECTION A (40 MARKS)
Answer ALL Questions
1. Identify and explain the division of Sharia law. [10 marks]
2. “Christians are incapable of explaining the five Islamic practices.” An Islam critic
commented. Respond. [10 marks]
3. The Kadhi Courts in the Kenyan (new) Constitution is still a concern issues as far as the
Church is concern. Discuss in favour or against the Church’s position. [10 marks]
4. Moslems belief that the Arabic Quran in is an ‘exact copy of a tablet of the Quran in
Heaven’. Challenge the claim in light of uthman’s Recension of Zaid’s compilation of
Quran. [10marks]
SECTION B (16 MARKS)
Answer TWO Questions Only
5. “It is incorrect to claim that Muhammad and his followers had changed the political
landscape of the Eastern world in one generation. In fact Muhammad ran away from
mecca to Medina as a sign of defeat.” An Islamic critic asserted. Challenge.
[8 marks]
6. “It is not accurate for Christians to belief that the Moslems or Quran perceive them in any
negative way. Islam promotes tolerance, peace and brotherhood of all religions. Quran
view Christians as people of the Book.” Critique the statement. [8 marks]
7. “Bible translators changed the Bible from Hebrew (God’s word as given to Abraham,
Moses and Jesus) to King James and then New King James.” Imam argued. Challenge
the claim. [8 marks]
SECTION C (14 MARKS)
Answer ONE Question.
1. “Quran is the only Holy book in the world that has not been tampered not even to a dot
over the last fourteen hundred years.” Challenge the claim. [14 marks]
2. You are invited to Pastor’s Conference to expound on “Muslim “Christmas and New
Year Season’s Greetings” inviting Christian “ … to come together to ‘A Common
Word’ based on ‘Love of God and love of Neighbor”. Discuss [14 marks]
