Answer ALL Questions
1. Explain four of the five main practices of Islam. [4 marks]
2. Identify and explain the main branches of Islam. [6 marks]
3. “Islam is a pure religion without any human intervention.” A Moslem Preacher
declared. Dispute the claim. [10 marks]
4. “Since the days of Muhammed to the present day, Moslems have used force to
spread Islam.” A student claimed. Respond to the claim. [10 marks]
5. “Sura 19:30-34 reads: ‘He [Christ] said: ‘I am indeed A servant of Allah: He hath
given me Revelation and made me A Prophet;…Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary:
(it is ) a statement Of truth, about which They (vainly) dispute.’ It is clear from
Quran that Christ was both a Servant and a Prophet of Allah and no more.” A
Moslem faithful Claimed. Dispute the claim. [10 marks]

Quran against the Islamic belief that “Quran is an exact copy of a tablet of the
Quran in Heaven” [15 marks]
7. Discuss the significance of the ‘Christian Origins and Influences on Quran’ against
the Islamic belief that “Quran is an exact copy of a tablet of the Quran in Heaven”
[15 marks]
8. When Kenya was engulfed in post election violence, Moslems put out the
following advertisement. “The only condition to bring peace and prosperity to
Kenya is that we have to apply, understand and implement the great fundamental
aIslamic principles, values and ethics of Islam. Islam is a religion of peace,
tolerance…brotherhood. (The Standard Feb 28, 2008)” Evaluate the advertisement.

9. “Why are there many different Bibles, Revised King James Bible, New
International Version, it means Christians have revised the Bible and come up
with a New one. These are clear evidences that Christians have changed their
Bible.” A Muslim argues. Correct the misrepresentation. [15 marks]
