Umeme fashion clothing line is a company that specializes in designing attire for 15-25 year olds. Initially, management used to recruit fresh fashion graduates on long term contracts for the design department. However, to manage rising costs, the company’s management resorted to hiring design interns on short term contracts. Management has noticed that there has been a sharp decline in the sales and the firm’s profits and a worrying turnover of the support staff who eventually end up working with the company’s competitors.
The firm has placed an advertisement seeking a consultant to conduct a study investigating challenges of the company.
