QUESTION 1
Identify a topic in your area of specialization and clearly discuss the research process.
(30 marks)
QUESTION 2
a) Briefly discuss two types of research designs (8 marks)
b) Themes are usually identified by the researcher before, after and during the data
collection. Discuss SIX techniques for identifying these themes. (12 marks)








QUESTION 3
Suppose you needed to interview a representative sample of undergraduate students but had
concluded that there was no way to use probability sampling methods. You decided to use non –
probability methods. Kabarak University Registrar can give you counts of the number of students
who are in all the semesters currently, plus how many male and female students are in each class.
How would you conduct a reasonably reliable non-probability sample? (20 marks)
