(a) Discuss the concept of “total rewards “and explain how human resource managers can utilize this concept to enhance employee motivation. (20 marks)
(b) Discuss the benefits that would accrue to an organization carrying out job evaluation consistently. (10 marks)
(c) You have been invited as a reward management consultant to give a talk to Human Resource Managers on reward policy. Explain the key highlights of your speech.

Kiembeni Food Processors have decided to carry out a job evaluation exercise and have been advised to use the Job Classification Method. Discuss the steps that they would follow when using this method. Explain the key strengths of this method including the challenges they are likely to experience when using this approach. (20 marks)

Question 3
The management of Kamboni Manufacturers, Lizoda Food Processors and Manzoni Welders have decided to carry out a salary survey and have decided to use the salary club survey method. Discuss the key factors, the management of these three companies should consider before adopting this method. Explain the advantages that would accrue to these firms on adopting this salary survey method. (20 marks)
