a) Write short notes on:
i) Balance of payments (BOP)
ii) Multi domestic market concept
iii) Direct exporting. (15marks)

b) Outline some of the major problems confronting an international advertiser.

Identify the major constraints in export growth in Kenya. Suggest suitable measures which can be integrated in strategy to promote exports. (15marks)


Question 3
Write short notes on any two of the following:
i) Methods of indirect exports to foreign markets.
ii) International bank for reconstruction and development (IBRD)
iii) Procedure for conducting international marketing research. (15marks)

Explain the major challenges faced by marketers in developing and implementing international marketing plans. Which part of the international marketing plan do you think is most importance? Critically discuss using examples of your choice.

Describe and explain each of the four phases that underpin the international marketing planning process. (15marks)

Critically discuss the notion of Country of Origin Effect (COE) stereotypes and the methods available for their changes. (15marks)
