Broadcast news differ significantly from print news. What are the key broadcast news writing guidelines for both radio and television (20marks)

Editing for both radio and television news has four main functions. Explain the four functions as you discuss the challenges they pose to the news reporter (20marks)

Discuss the six basic camera shots and their use in TV news (20marks)

Recording sound for radio news requires a lot of care and use of good techniques. Briefly explain what you need to do in each of the following circumstances:-
a) Preparing for a radio location interview
b) Handling the microphone during the interview
c) Checking the sound level before, during and after the interview. (20marks)
