1. a) Having studied Redemption story at Kabarak University you must have realized
that Christianity is different from other religions in various ways and also in as far
as Redemption is concern. Explain the uniqueness of Christianity. (20 Marks)

b) Genesis 1 and 2 presents a perfect and ideal family. Explain the uniqueness of
the first family as compared to us today.

2. a) Define the following terms
i. Protoevangelium
ii. Sin in African Traditional Religion
iii. Centripetal
iv. Redemption
v. Image of God (10 Marks)

b) Genesis 3:15 is the heart and soul of redemption. Explain its significance to
the overall redemption plan of God (10 Marks)

3. a) Genesis 12-50 show “Yahweh’s gracious promises to Abraham in Gen. 12:1-3, 7;
22:17-18; Isaac in Gen. 26:3-4 and Jacob in Gen. 28:13-15 are the very platform of the
history of Redemption”. Explain these fourfold patriarchal promises? (8 Marks)

b) God called the Nation of Israel as the channel through which the other Nations would
be blessed. What specific privileges were they to receive from God? (12 Marks)

4. a) Giving specific examples from the New Testament, what images are there to show that
Jesus Christ is the Universal redeemer? (10 Marks)

b) Describe the characteristics of the millennial kingdom that Christ will establish for one
thousand years on earth. (10 Marks)
