The Bible is the constitution of Christian faith. Discuss. (20 marks)

You are confronted by a cultic person who argues that Jesus was not divine. Having gone through THEO 111 Class respond to him appropriately quoting relevant scripture where possible by:-
a) Explaining the virgin birth and highlighting its significance to us today (6 marks)
b) Providing at least five facts in each case to show that Jesus was both fully God and fully Man. (10 marks)
c) Highlighting to him implication of the deity of Jesus Christ to the believers. (2 marks)
d) Give two reasons why people join cults (2 marks)

Modern society dismisses Angels, Satan and Demons as myth and those who believe in their existence as naïve, however the bible affirms their existence from the knowledge acquired in THEO 111 Class.
a) Explain the terms Angels and Satan showing their roots meaning from the Greek and Hebrew Language respectively (4 marks)
b) Using biblical examples briefly discuss the roles and responsibility of angels in the plan of God. (8 marks)
c) Compare and contrast good and evil angels. (4 marks)
d) Briefly discuss limits placed on Satan and its emissaries (4 marks)

The Third person of the Trinity has been ignored in the mainline churches and left to Pentecostal
churches and sects. However in the recent past there has been a growing interest in the doctrine of the Holy Spirit. Springing from the knowledge acquired in THEO 111 Class, define and write short notes on the following terminologies relating to the work of the holy spirit.

d) Name two gifts of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer (2 marks)
