c) Physical geography has several sub-fields focusing mainly on the four main components of the planet earth. Discuss the following sub-branches or sub-fields of physical geography showing their main concerns:
i) Graciology
ii) Climatology
iii) Oceanography
iv) Geomorphology

The planet earth is said to be constantly moving. Discuss and critique the continental drift theory in explaining the earth movement. (20marks)

a) Briefly justify the oblate spheroid shapes of the planet earth (5marks)
b) The interior of the planet earth is made up of a series of layers based on the composition and physical properties of the rocks and minerals in it. Using a diagram, discuss and distinguish these layers of the interior of the planet earth. (15marks)
