(ii) In an outbreak of ebola in Goma DRC in the yar 2000, 50 people were
diagnosed to have the disease, within that year 45 of them died. What is
the case fatality rate. (3 Marks)

Briefly explain the intrinsic host factors that influence susceptibility to a disease agent. (3 Marks)

Use the tables below to answer questions that follow. The first table shows the number of sick persons (with acute sore throat) who ate each of the various specified combinations of the food items.
