a) Distinguish between the following concepts in the context of information system:-
i) Intranet and extranet
ii) Cable media and wireless media
iii) Decision support systems and management information systems

b) "An information system is a set of interrelated components that collect, manipulate, store and disseminate data and information and provide feedback to meet an objective"
Identify and briefly describe the importance of five of the key components of an information system. (10 marks)

c) The use of computers is responsible for many changes to organisations, individuals and society as a whole. Describe four main impacts of computers in the modern organisation. (8 marks)
