a) Human beings observe a stimulus but perceive it differently. Briefly discuss external and internal factors that influence our perceptual judgment. (10 marks)
b) Not every manager may be an effective leader. Using relevant illustrations, discuss five characteristics of effective leaders. (10 marks)

(a) Effective managers must be good communicators. Discuss three main barriers to effective communication in the organization. (6 marks)
(b) Mr. Dedan, the CEO of Dendak Communications company is worried after noting that five senior managers have just handed in resignation letters to the H.R department. Mr. Dedan has to urgently make a decision to counter such problem in future. By use of the steps in the decision making process, advice Mr.Dedan on how to arrive at a decision to solve this problem.
