been bewitched and is insisting they seek help from traditional doctors to see who is
behind her daughters illness. Elaborate on the disease causation theory that:

John was born and raised in one of the city slums. He dropped out of school in standard five. He
spent most of his time in the streets and would visit his mother once in a while. His mum is not
sure if John received all his childhood immunizations. He has since moved from the streets and
now does casual jobs in processing factories. Three weeks ago he was diagnosed with HIV.
Using multilevel frame work of understanding the social determinants of health, discuss John’s
health status. (20 Marks)
