d. Discuss factors associated with female gender that determine population growth and what are the
effects. (4 Marks)
e. Explain giving examples why women are more vulnerable to STDS than men. (4 Marks)
f. Discuss STDs that have been transmitted from mother to unborn child during pregnancy and what is
the public health impact. (4 Marks)

A couple that has been trying to conceive for the last 10 years has come to you for advice. Discuss the
causes of infertility in both males and females and suggest the possible solutions. (20 Marks)
