i. Using classes of 20-30, 30-40 etc display both distributions in a frequency distribution table. (6 Marks) ii. Draw the frequency polygons for the two distributions on the same graph page. QUESTION TWO (20 MARKS)
a) Joan has a basket with 20 fruits in it. 15 ripe and 5 unripe. If she picks a ripe fruit, she sells it for ksh. 10 otherwise she returns it in the bag. She does the picking three times. Represent this by means of a tree diagram hence or otherwise calculate the probability that she goes home with at least ksh.20. (10 Marks) b) A game is played such that you score 8 times the number that faces down on the roll of a four sided fair dice. If, however, the number that faces down is 4, you are given a second chance to roll the dice, but this time you only score four times the number that faces down. By help of a tree diagram, represent this information with x being the total score and obtain the respective probability, hence or otherwise calculate the expected value of x. (10 Marks)

a) Explain the significance of the study of correlation in business and management studies. (4 Marks) b) Discuss briefly the following terms; i. Positive and negative correlation (2 Marks) ii. (2 Marks) c) The following data relate to the scores obtained by a salesman of a company on intelligence test and that weekly sale in thousand of pounds.
