1. (a) State the basic rules for developing useful commodity market models. (6 marks)
(b) Explain how you would solve the difficulties associated with marketing
agricultural services. (8 marks)
(c) Examine some of the EU trade restrictions tools used against agro-food exports
from developing countries. (6 marks)
(d) Briefly examine methods that can be used to protect seasonal food crops farmers
from exogenous risks. (8 marks)
(e) Explain the importance of regional trade for agricultural products. (6 marks)
(f) Illustrate the relationship between demand, supply and price. (6 marks)
2. (i) Discuss the importance of using econometric analysis in agricultural marketing. (8 marks)
(ii) Analyse the following model as applied in agricultural marketing. (5 marks)
