phenomenology of Religion. (20marks)
Q4. Make a distinction between Phenomenology and History of Religion. (20marks)
Q5. Explain the ideas of two leading scholars who hold that Religion is as a result
of Evolutionary process. (20 marks)
Discuss the following concepts in reference to the thinkers of Phenomenology of
religion;
a. Religion as a Phenomenon.
b. The sociological dimension of religion.
c. Religion as the opiate of the oppressed, the dopamine of the sick, and a
means of escaping from the real world to a maker believed world.

asserts , “ the unbeliever in restlessly in search of the indeterminate, the boundeless, for what seems to be the limit of the horizon meeting a mound; on the
contrary there are unlimited mounds which need unwavering search…” a. From the position of Roger Ikor and in relation to atheism Elucidate and give a brief explanation about the fundaments of Atheism.
b. In light of what is posited by Ikor, would you respond to his position.
