The following report was prepared by Kona Mbaya Police station on 25th December
2009.
Mwala's Landlady entered Mwala's apartment to collect the rent and found him lying
in a pool of blood on the floor of his bathroom with a single gunshot wound on the
head.
A 38-caliber revolver was lying three feet from Mwala's body. A neighbour observed
Mwala's girlfriend, Ann, enter Mwala's apartment at 4.00 p.m. on the day of the
murder.
The GS4 driver observed a woman matching Ann's description leave his apartment at
5.30 p.m that same day,
A witness heard a gunshot in the area of Mwala's apartment at 5.10 p.m. Ann's best
friend stated that Ann was planning to break-up with Mwala after she found that
Mwala had slept with another woman.
Responding officers located an apparent handwritten suicide note, covered in blood
and signed in Mwala's name.
Based on this report construct an investigative inference chart.
