a) Assessment of the organization’s mission, strategic goals and customer needs is vital in business process re-engineering. As a manager in a task force set to see the company of your choice get BPR, what are some of the considerations shall you take to ensure a successful process? (20 marks)
b) According to Hammer, “A company does not focus resolutely on its customers and processes that produce value for its customers is not for this world. Process improvement comes from walking in customer’s shoe”. Stating examples from an organization your choice, outline the principles that Hammer used in business process re-engineering in order to achieve this. (10marks)
Q2. Business process re-engineering is designed for the purpose of continuous improvement of the organization. You have been invited by cocacola company limited to explain the risk factors that could be encountered during implementation of BPR. What would your presentation entail? (20 marks)
Q3. Continuous process improvement is phenomenal. Every organization will want to benchmark with other organizations in the same business inorder to improve. Prepare a check list for a competitor company of your choice and explain each item you may wish to inquire in a company of frequently visit for this exercise. (20 marks)
Q4. Draw the four phases in the plan do check act cycle citing how it would impact total quality management in CUEA. (20 marks)
