1. Citing relevant examples, describe three reasons why the drum is popular among pre-school children.
2. Describe three limitations associated with Piaget's notion of "inability to transform," in young children's music ability.
3. State six factors that you would focus on when considering the suitability of a music programme for children.
4. Describe an activity that you could use to promote an "ear for music" in a class of 3-year-olds.
5. Using the theme "family" write an original rhyme that you could use in a class of four year-olds.
