Define the concept of “adherence” in Health psychology and state four health recommended practices as proposed by Ogden (2004). (3 marks)

State and explain three aspects of the reciprocal Determinism model proposed by Bandura (2001) to explain human beings’ capacity to use their cognition for self regulation. (6 marks)
c)
Prochaska et al (1994) proposed the Transtheoretical Model in which they assumed that people progress as well as regress through spiraling stages in making changes in behaviour. State and explain each of the five stages giving your own example in each case. (10 marks)

Define the concept of ‘stress’ in Health Psychology and differentiate between enstress and distress. (3 marks)
